Card Box Simple Joy

July 6, 2018

I love this simple card box for putting my A2  (4-1/4" x 5-1/2") cards in as a gift.

Limitless ways to decorate and package your lovely cards for any occassion.

The card box holds 8-12 cards plus envelopes.   This number changes depending on the thickness of your cards with embellishments and how you have them folded.

You need one piece of 8-1/2" x 11" Card stock.   You can leave it plain or you can stamp it before you begin to create a nice box with unique design.   Create what you love and give the joy to others.

Landscape, score at 1", 7" and 8"

Turn page to Potrait and score at 1", 2", 6-1/2" and 7-1/2"

You end up with score marks shown above as the dashes.   Next, cut out corners in shaded areas shown above.   Snip the little squares as shown, which are your tabs for the box.

This is what it ends up looking like.   Now put tear and tape on little tabs and fold in.  Put tear and tape on outside folds as shown and fold in.  The picture above has the front of the box on the left.  Put tear and tape on these folds and fold in to create your lovely card box.

Add a 3-1/2" x 4" piece of dsp to front for a simple  way to decorate and to match inside cards or use your die cuts.   I always cut extra die cuts to have on had and always ready to go.
