Oldie but Goodie

March 7, 2019

Yes, today I used an old stamp set.  I did so because, it may be retired but It is still good.  Yes, I use the old stamp sets often and I encourage others to hang on to their sets that they love.   No, I am not saying hoard but certain sets are special.   This set only has three stamps but everyone is used in the card.

This case had some water damage, thank goodness it did not hurt the stamps.   Yes, we had a hot water heater go bad that ruined alot of nice things.  So thankful not many of my stamping and crafting supplies.   I keep my things in the basement that I do not use often and I have to since our house is tiny.....   I know, we have been here 31 years and I should be use to it by now.

Retired stamps sell on Ebay and Etsy at high prices, so when you see the retired list coming out in April or May be sure to get what you would like.   I know, I also found out, things sell out...yes...so do not be slow in deciding.  I myself, my budget dictates so I plan....

Yes, retiring stamp sets, thinlits/framelits and than the 2017-2019 colors will be gone.   I can tell you they getting back ordered already and it will be hit and miss.   Yes, we hate to see things go but many new beautiful exciting items will be coming......keep the creativity going.
